Rand Robinson Officially Announces nV|Aero as the Exclusive Manufacturer for the KR Aircraft

Jeanette Rand, President of Rand Robinson Engineering, officially announced that nV|Aerospace will be the exclusive Manufacturer and Distributor for the KR line of aircraft and related components.

A spokesperson for nV|Aero said, "This marks a historic event for the KR aircraft as the torch gets past, continuing the legacy Ken Rand left for us all." Ken designed the KR-1 in 1972 using cutting edge building techniques that would later become the standard for modern aviation. His vision and ingenuity have left a lasting impression on aviation and nV|Aero is proud to carry on his legacy.

Rand Robinson will retain the rights to the design but all inventory and tooling was acquired by nV|Aero to produce the KR kits. Plans for a fast build fuselage, improved wing and empennage airfoils and several other design improvements are under way. "Expect great things for the future of the KR. This platform has never been more relevant than it is today, given our economic climate and the unbeatable total cost of ownership and low operating costs of the KR aircraft.", said the Director of Operations for nV|Aero, North America.
